Choosing a casino site: the order of the check, and of the exit

We pick a site with a sequence rather than a score: register, cashier rules, bonus terms. That order exists because if the first step fails the rest are pointless — and the same logic governs the way the money comes back out.

The three steps of a check, and why in this order

  1. The licence register. Take the number from the footer and search for it in the issuing authority’s own public list. If the company name in front of that number does not appear in the register, the footer line is not a document — and there is no point doing the other two steps.
  2. The cashier rules. Minimum and maximum amounts, the conversion rate applied to AZN, and which rails a withdrawal is allowed to use. This step depends on the first: with no verified licence you also do not know who wrote the cashier rules.
  3. The bonus terms. Last, because a bonus never compensates for a bad licence or a closed withdrawal route. There is one sentence to find in the terms: which balance goes down first when you stake.

The order of these three is not arbitrary: each depends on the result of the one before it. Reading the sequence backwards — starting with the bonus — is the most common mistake, because a bonus is in plain sight and a register is not.

The order of registration

FIXED: FIXED the step is fixed by a published rule — its place in the order cannot be swappedVARIES: VARIES the step exists everywhere but its content differs by operator — read it in their terms—: — we publish nothing here: no measurement of ours exists

Five steps. Four are the same everywhere. The fifth — document verification — is the one whose position you choose, and the only one where the position itself buys you real time.

  1. Step 1: The account opens

Email, phone, password. The name has to match the document: a mismatch surfaces not at step five but at the moment of a withdrawal.

  2. Step 2: Age is confirmed

An account below 18 is closed by rule and winnings are not paid. This step exists everywhere and changes nowhere.

    controlled by: the operatorFIXED: FIXED

  3. Step 3: Terms are accepted

Bonus terms, cashier rules, privacy policy. This is the step after which «I had not read it» stops being available.

    controlled by: youFIXED: FIXED

  4. Step 4: Limits are set

Deposit, loss and session limits. This is the one convenient moment to set them before a first deposit exists.

    controlled by: youFIXED: FIXED

  5. Step 5: Documents are verified

ID and proof of address. Done now, it costs one wait; left until the first withdrawal, that wait becomes time your money spends queueing.

Step five — document verification — is the only step in this sequence whose POSITION is your choice. The rule says it must happen; when it happens is up to you. Done now, it costs a single wait and no money is kept waiting.

The order of a withdrawal

Order matters more on the way out than on the way in, because one step — identity verification — costs you a single delay or a delay every time, depending only on when you do it.

  1. Step 1: Identity is verified

Document checks (KYC) are required by rule. You can complete them right after registration — and then they cost nothing at the moment of a withdrawal. Leave them for later and your first withdrawal waits for them.

    controlled by: youFIXED: FIXED

  2. Step 2: The bonus condition closes

With an active bonus, the bonus part of a balance cannot leave until the wagering requirement is met. This step stands in front of the withdrawal, and its content depends on the operator.

  3. Step 3: The request is sent

Amount and rail are chosen in the cashier. The rail is limited by your deposit choice — a decision made early in the order takes effect here.

    controlled by: youFIXED: FIXED

  4. Step 4: The operator reviews

An internal review stage. Its duration depends on the operator and we do not measure it, so there is no number here.

    controlled by: the operator—: —

  5. Step 5: The payment provider sends

The amount moves from the operator account to the payment provider and on to your bank. After this step the reversal mechanism is no longer with the operator.

controlled by: the game providerFIXED: FIXED

  6. Step 6: It appears on the statement

The one document you can check yourself. Date and amount are on the bank statement — in a dispute, that is the evidence.

    controlled by: youFIXED: FIXED

The fourth step carries «—» and that is deliberate: we do not measure how long an operator’s internal review takes, so we have no right to print a number for it. Phrases like «paid within 24 hours» that circulate widely are marketing copy, not a measurement.

The sixth step is the opposite — it is the strongest document a player holds. A bank statement keeps the date, the amount and the receiving party, and in a dispute that is what gets referenced, not a line on an operator’s screen.

The order of a complaint

  1. The operator’s own support — choose a written channel, because you need to keep a copy of the conversation.
  2. The dispute-resolution service (ADR) named in the operator’s terms. This step is fixed by rule: licence conditions oblige an operator to name such a route.
  3. The licensing authority. That is the last step, and reaching it requires the documents produced by the two before it.

The same three documents work at all three stages: the round ID (for live and provider games), the transaction date, and the bank statement. Keeping them in advance is step zero of the complaint sequence.

Frequently asked questions

In what order should a site be checked?

The licence register first, then how the cashier rules close your withdrawal route, and the bonus terms last. That order exists because if the first step fails the other two are pointless.

How is a licence number verified?

By searching the number in the public register of the issuing authority. If a number is printed in a site footer, the name and status in the register must match it; when they do not, the printed line is not a document.

Why do cashier rules restrict a withdrawal?

Most operators tie a withdrawal to the rail the deposit arrived on, keeping the money trail on one rail. The consequence is that the method you chose on the first deposit has already chosen your way out.

In what order is a complaint made?

Operator support first, then the dispute-resolution service they name, then the licensing authority. At every stage the round ID, the date and the bank statement act as the documents.
